Anantnag, June 1, 2024 — In an enriching educational excursion, students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Anantnag visited the studios of Radio Raabta 90.8, gaining a unique insight into the world of radio broadcasting. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to media and communication.

Teacher Miss Mavish Zubair, along with students of DPS Anantnag, expressed gratitude towards Radio Raabta for this exceptional learning opportunity. “This visit has been immensely beneficial for our students, broadening their horizons and igniting their interest in the field of media,” Mavish Zubair stated.

Radio Raabta 90.8, renowned for its community engagement and educational initiatives, once again demonstrated its commitment to fostering knowledge and curiosity among young minds. The students left the studio with a newfound appreciation for the power of radio and the dynamic role it plays in society.

During the visit, Sr.RJ Mehak explained the process of content scripting, highlighting the creativity and precision involved. Furthermore, RJ Kashif provided insights into radio programming, explaining how shows are structured and scheduled. Saadath Mohi-ud-din engaged the students with a session on sound editing, demonstrating the technical skills required to produce high-quality audio content.

The Station Manager (RJ Khalid) discussed the responsibilities of the radio station towards the community and the role of radio in raising awareness about various social issues. He emphasized the importance of radio in promoting technical education and skill development and highlighted its potential in creating awareness about drug addiction.

The Station Manager (RJ Khalid) emphasized that Radio Raabta is fully committed to supporting educational initiatives and welcomes educational tours with open arms.
