Body of baramulla Man Recovered After 11 Days of Search in Jhelum River

Baramulla, Jun 1: The dead body of, a 55-year-old, man was recovered today after 11 days of continuous search efforts in river jehlum in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Official sources said that Mohammad Subhan Dhobi resident of Kakar Hamam, Baramulla had drowned in the Jhelum River on May 21 after slipping into the water.

However after immense efforts of Locals and police the body was not recovered immediately they said.

Sources said that The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) led the search operation, which continued for 11 days with the assistance of various rescue agencies.

However Despite the challenging conditions, the combined efforts finally led to the discovery of his body today from river jehlum.

The locals of area were continuously appealing to the administration to deploy more teams to help in the search operation and finally the body has been recovered today. (KNS)
