RAJOURI, MAY 17: SVEEP team Rajouri, headed by Prof. Mohd Iqbal Raina conducted an interactive session with NCC Cadets of Government PG College Rajouri.
The event was held under the guidance of District Election Officer Om Parkash Bhagat.
The team engaged with the NCC cadets, emphasizing the significance of voting and their role in raising awareness among the public and assisting the elderly and physically challenged individuals during the electoral process.
Nodal Officer Raina highlighted the importance of active participation in elections, particularly for the youth. He urged the cadets to spread the message of responsible voting and encourage their peers to register and cast their ballots.
The NCC cadets were enthusiastic and expressed their commitment to fulfilling their role as electoral ambassadors. They pledged to work towards increasing voter turnout and fostering a democratic spirit in society.
ANO Major Tanwir Ahmed Choudhary commended the NCC cadets for their efforts and assured them of all necessary support in their endeavors. He expressed confidence that the cadets would play a pivotal role in promoting electoral literacy and ensuring a smooth and fair electoral process in Rajouri.
Team members Dr. Khalid Rayaz and Prof. Ajaz Nazir were also present during the event.
