ADGP Jammu Zone reviews Law & Order, security & crime scenario of Samba district

Jammu ,May 15 : Additional Director General of Police, Jammu Zone, Jammu Sh. Anand Jain IPS, today visited Samba to review Law & Order, security & Crime scenario and chaired a meeting with all supervisory officers, SHOs and other Police officers of the district.

The main focus was laid on action against Gangsters, NDPS cases, Crime against Property, Crime against Person, and Inquest Proceedings. All present in the meeting were briefed to concentrate on NDPS cases with special reference to find out,source, carrier and destination. The properties of Gangster who are absconding are to be attached under relevant provisions of law. Action to be taken against the criminals in similar manner. These directives are aimed at strengthening our efforts in maintaining law and order, combating crime, and ensuring the safety and security of our citizens.

Moreover, the ADG Jammu Zone ,Sh. Anand Jain IPS, accompanied by senior officials, conducted a thorough inspection of the Police Station Samba . During the inspection, ADG Jammu examined the infrastructure, facilities, and operational readiness of the station. He also scrutinized the record-keeping processes to ensure compliance with standard procedures and protocols. He emphasized the importance of efficient policing and community engagement in maintaining law and order in the region.(BAN)
