JAMMU, MAY 14: Cultural Unit, Department of Information and Public Relations Jammu today organised a Symposium on the topic “Nasha Mukt Bharat” at Government Higher Secondary School Pouni Reasi.
The objective was to encourage the young generation to have an in-depth understanding of perils of Drug menace and identify and share solutions to this menace.
The students delivered thought provoking speeches and shared valuable information on the topic. They also presented a colorful Cultural programme.
Students were judged on parameters of Pronunciation, Modulation of Voice, Factual Representation, confidence etc. As many as 10 students participated in the competition. Vishawjeet Singh, Amit Gupta & Anil Sharma Singh were the Judges for the day. Sanjay Khajuria, teacher of the school hosted the event.
First position was secured by Hitakshi Sharma, Second position by Tamana Sharma and third position went to Arvind Singh.
While speaking on the occasion, the School Principal Suraj Parkash educated the students regarding the topic and appreciated the Department of Information & Public Relations for organising such a meaningful event in the school.
