SAMBA, MAY 14: Adnan Sayeed, Chairman District Legal Services Authority Samba (also Principal District and Sessions Judge Samba) today chaired a meeting of District Level Monitoring Committee to discuss the plan for establishment of a jail in Samba district.
The meeting focuses on the identification as well as acquisition of the land for the construction of Jail with all the latest technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Video Conferencing for conducting Mulakaats and tele-medicine facilities for the ease of the inmates strictly as per the mandate of Model Prison Manual, 2016.
Abhishek Sharma, District Magistrate, Vinay Sharma, Senior Superintendent of Police, Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary DLSA Samba, joined the meeting physically, while Veerinder Kumar, Superintendent, Central Jail Kotbhalwal, Koushal Kumar, Superintendent, District Jail Kathua, and Harish Kotwal, Superintendent, District Jail Amphalla joined the meeting through virtual mode.
