BANDIPORA, MAY 14: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman on Tuesday conducted field tour of Sumbal Sub-division to inspect ongoing works on over head tanks (OHTs), and also visited Election Strong Room.
AEE Jal Shakti Sub Division Sumbal informed the DC about the functioning of Jal Shakti Department in the Sumbal Sub-division and the status of work projects.
The DC stressed on the concerned to complete the ongoing works within the given time frame.
Later, the DC also visited Election Strong Room to assess preparations for Lok Sabha Elections 2024. He assessed the measures in place for storing EVMs in Strong Room, besides took stock of security measures.
During the visit, the DC was accompanied by Dy DEO Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat, SDM Sumbal Aamir Choudhary, ExEn I&FC Fida Hussain Rizvi, AEE Jal Shakti and other concerned.
