Rajouri, May 05 :- Jammu and Kashmir police in Darhal Rajouri booked a notorious element for voilation of District Magistrate’s order by using Virtual Private Networking App in his personal mobile phone .

 

An official told that accused have been identified as Mazhar Iqbal son of Azhar Iqbal age 30 years resident of Village Dhanore jaralan, Tehsil and District Rajouri who has been booked in Case FIR no 32/ 2024 under section 188/IPC at PS Darhal.

 

He said that subject individual was intercepted by a Naka Party of PS darhal under the supervision of SHO PS Darhal Insp. Habib Pathan at Dodaj area of darhal and upon checking was found Installed with Thunder VPN application in his personal mobile phone.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that District Magistrate Rajouri vide order no DMR/JC/2024-25/122-28 dated 24-04-2024 has suspended the usage of all kinds of VPNs till the culmination of Lok sabha elections in the entire District.

 

It is further added during past two days 02 Cases of this nature have been registered in the District 01 at PS kandi and 01 case at PS Darhal for such type of violations and in future more action would be initiated against such anti-social elements.(KS)
