Karnah, Kupwara:SDM Karnah, Zaffar Ahmad Lone, led an extensive tour of Sub Division Karnah, accompanied by Tehsildar Karnah and a team of engineers. The tour aimed to assess the situation and oversee restoration efforts amidst road connectivity challenges in the region.

 

During the visit, SDM Karnah inspected several villages, including Tangdar, Khawarpara, Nawagabra (Konagabra), Hajitra, Dhani, Sudhpora, Taad, Amrohi, Chitterkote, Gundigujraan, Draggard, and Gundisharth. Restoration work of road connectivity was observed to be underway, with machinery from R&B, PMGSY, and BEACON actively engaged in the task.

 

Highlighting the significance of the tour, SDM Karnah emphasized the importance of restoring road connectivity to facilitate the movement of residents and essential services. An alternative route for the residents of village Gundigujraan has been restored via Gundisharth-Draggard Road, providing relief to the people.
