Poonch 29 April. 2024: In a joint effort, EPFO and District administration poonch organized an outreach Program regarding EPFO at the conference Hall Dak bunglow poonch The program, initiate with the welcome words by Mohd Arif Assistant Labour commissioner poonch in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Poonch Yasin M.choudhary (IAS) chaired by Regional Provident Commissioner Rizwan ud din and witnessed the huge participation of various officer and officials, from different departments, Employers and employees of different sectors of district aimed to raise awareness about the pressing issues of EPFO
Deputy commissioner poonch emphasizing the importance of social security schemes and emphasizing that immediate action would be taken to ensure the implementation at ground level.
The collaboration between the Department of L&E and District administration poonch signifies a proactive step in addressing these critical issues and aims to create awareness among the employers and employees
By educating the public about these issues, the organizers hope to foster a society that is vigilant and responsive to such issues.
The attendees of the program, including officers and officials, employees/ workers from various departments and establishments like stone crushers, contractors of various establishments, school principal traders federation, Samagra employees etc. demonstrated their commitment to addressing these issues collaboratively. This united effort among different sectors is crucial in ensuring the effective resolution of cases related to EpFO.
The Department of Labour and Employment GOU are commended for their dedication to raising awareness and taking proactive measures to safeguard the rights and well-being of workers in the region. It is hoped that such initiatives will contribute to the creation of a more aware and responsible society, where every workers/ employees can grow up in a safe and nurturing environment.
The program concluded with remarkable comments from ADDC , poonch, Sandesh Kumar Sharma (JKAS).
Regional provident commissioner Rizwan us din also answered various queries of participants related to pensions ,refunds, and related aspects of various EPFO schemes.
