Srinagar, April 27 : Second body among three persons who were missing for the last several days has been recovered from river Jhelum Cement Kadal area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Saturday morning.

 

On 16 April, a boat drowned along with some people who were crossing the river Jehlum from Gandbal to Batwara in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

 

However, with the swift action of river police, few were rescued and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.

 

Since then search operation to find bodies of three missing persons was going on and today body of one more person has been found near Cement Kadal while one bodies is still missing

 

An official told that efforts are on to trace the missing body.

 

In the incident 9 persons lost their lives, six were buried on the first day while two bodies were recovered in the last two days .(KS)
