Kupwara, April 17; On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara,Ms. Ayushi Sudan, Tehsildar Karnah, Mohammd Amin Bhat, today visited various villages of Karnah Sub Division to assess the post heavy rainfall situation.

Tehsildar Karnah took an extensive tour of various villages/areas of Karnah Sub Division to assess the situation after incessant heavy rainfall in the Sub Division.

During the tour, the Tehsildar Karnah inspected residential houses in village Kandi,Tangdar,Khawarpara,Nawagabra,Hajitra,Sudhpora,Dhani & Chanipora damaged due to flash floods.

The Concerned departments were asked for immediate repairs of the Roads to prevent any untoward incident.

Meanwhile, Tehsildar Karnah has directed all the field functionaries, Naib Tehsildars, Patwaries to visit their respective jurisdictions to report the damages caused if any to the personal properties of the people to provide them intermediate relief as per Government guidelines.
