Mandeep Kour visits LCMA’s development projects
SRINAGAR, APRIL 16: Commissioner Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, Mandeep Kour, today conducted a comprehensive visit of various projects being executed by Lake Conservation and Management Authority (LCMA) Srinagar aimed at lake conservation and management. She was accompanied by Vice Chairman LCMA who apprised her of various schemes and projects.
She inspected various projects including Houseboat Sewerage work, Eco Hamlets, Aerator Cluster, Dockyard, Cycling Track, Shalimar Channel and Eco Park at Shalimar.
Mandeep Kour also visited Tschunti Kul and exhorted for its proper management besides asking LCMA to come up with a comprehensive plan for Tschunti Kul rejuvenation.
She had a detailed discussion on different management and conservation practices of Dal and Nigeen lakes with special focus on sewer system and solid waste collection.
