RAMBAN, APRIL 15: A mega Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) event was today organised by District Administration Ramban at scenic Sanasar meadow, adjoining the blooming Tulip Garden with shining Lake in the background.

A colourful and mesmerizing programme was orchestrated by District Election Officer, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary.

ADDC, CEO PDA, ACD, ACP (District Nodal Officer SVEEP), DIO DIPR, DSWO, other district and sectoral officers were present on the occasion besides a mammoth gathering of enthusiastic locals, especially youth, women, PwDs, children and tourists were also present.

The event aimed to raise awareness about electoral participation and educate voters. The event at picturesque location to engage the community in the electoral process was thoroughly appreciated by the participants and tourists as well.

The ADDC interacted with the tourists and participants encouraging them to participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024 without fear and contribute their part in shaping the future of India as a vibrant Democratic Nation.

Hundreds of tourists and locals captured memorable moments and relished the cultural, informative and educative programme focusing on motivation of voters to participate in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, scheduled to be held in the district Ramban (04-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency) on April 19, 2024.

Another major highlight was play staged by Sangam Theatre group leaving the audience spellbound.

Students of Government Degree College Batote and other adjoining Schools presented patriotic songs, cultural items, speeches, and skits on the theme.

Additionally, sports activities, Zipline, Zorbing, Shikara ride, Trampoline, Horse riding, Painting, Mehndi, Tug of War, Kabaddi competitions and other activities were also held as part of the event.
