Ganderbal, April 11: Mohammed Amin Shah, the BJP Ganderbal District President, recently convened a pivotal meeting with MOS Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, the Chairperson of the Waqf Board at her office Srinagar. The meeting focused on addressing key Waqf-related affairs and initiatives within the district Ganderbal. Among the primary agenda items were discussions on the upgradation and proper maintenance of Waqf properties in Ganderbal. Both Shah and Andrabi emphasized the importance of preserving and enhancing these properties to serve the community effectively. Moreover, the meeting delved into plans for the establishment of new schools and other educational institutions across the district. This initiative underscores the commitment of local leadership to prioritize education and provide better opportunities for the youth in Ganderbal.

 

During the interaction, Mohammed Amin Shah lauded Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, hailing her as a strong leader who has played a pivotal role in elevatingy the Waqf Board to its current stature as a responsible and reputable institution within the Union Territory. Shah was quoted as saying, “Dr. Darakshan Andrabi is a strong lady whose leadership has propelled the Waqf Board to become the highest level of responsible and reputed institution in the UT.”

 

The meeting concluded with a consensus on several actionable strategies to advance the development and management of Waqf properties, as well as the expansion of educational infrastructure in Ganderbal. This collaborative effort between political and administrative figures signifies a concerted approach to address community needs and promote progress in the district, underscoring the significance of effective partnerships in governance.
