RAMBAN, APRIL 08: A proactive voter awareness campaign under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program, unfolded in Ramban district to inspire maximum public participation in the electoral process.
Organised on the direction of District Election Officer Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the event was led by SDM Gool, Pawan Goswami and coordinated by Tehsildar, S. Harjeet Singh and CDPO, Bashir Ahmed, a dedicated camp was organised at Government Degree College, Gool, along with main markets of Gool and Sangaldan.
Themed ‘Mera Pehla Vote, Desh ke Liye’ and ‘Every Vote Matters,’ the campaign highlighted the significance of active participation in elections, especially among youth and women. Through educational sessions and community engagement activities, participants were encouraged to exercise their voting rights in the upcoming elections, fostering inclusivity and democratic empowerment.
SDM Gool, Pawan Goswami, reiterated the SVEEP teams commitment in ensuring active involvement of all segments of society in the electoral process, emphasizing that such initiatives strengthen the democratic fabric and develop civic responsibility among citizens.
