BARAMULLA, APRIL 08: The District Election Officer (DEO) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa today conducted a thorough inspection of the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC), Media Centre, and Election Control Room in Baramulla.

The aim of the inspection was to get firsthand appraisal of their functioning and efficiency in serving their respective roles during Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

The District Election Officer was accompanied by Nodal officer MCC, Syed Qamar Sajad; Nodal Officer MCMC, Dr Zahoor Ahmad Raina; Dy. DEO Baramulla, Ab Rehman Bhat and Member Secretary MCMC Iftikhar Ahmad.

During the inspection, DEO personally assessed the operations of these crucial facilities, ensuring they are well-equipped and prepared to handle their responsibilities effectively.

The meticulous evaluation underscores the commitment of the electoral authorities to uphold transparency and integrity in the electoral process.

Minga Sherpa emphasized the importance of these facilities in facilitating fair and transparent elections, reaffirming the administration’s dedication to ensuring a smooth and impartial electoral process in Baramulla.
