KUPWARA, APRIL 06: The Court of Adjudicating Officer Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather today imposed a fine of Rs 199,800 on the erring Food Business operators (FBOs) of the different blocks in Handwara sub division.

During the hearing, the Adjudicating officer disposed-off 09 cases of Food Business operators (FBOs) for violations of the prescribed provisions/ norms of Food Safety and Standards Act and rules and regulations and imposed/ recovered a fine from them.

The Food Business operators of different blocks were warned against any kind of violation in future and were instructed to adhere to the rules and regulations in letter and spirit.

They were also stressed for maintaining cleanliness in and around their Food Business units to avoid any kind of infection.

Food Safety Officer, Handwara and other concerned were present.
