Kupwara, April 3: As part of the preparations for the smooth conduct of the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024, District Election Office, Kupwara, today organized a training session for Sector Magistrates/Sector Officers at the Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex Kupwara.

 

Training session was presided over by Special Nodal Officer Elections/ NLMT, Mr. Sameer Jan. NLMT briefed the participants about their roles in the election process and provided comprehensive information on the preparation and conduct of the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024.

 

On the occasion, EVM Hands-on training was also imparted to Sector Magistrates/Sector Officers of all the six assembly segments of Kupwara district. Sector Magistrates were trained about various aspects of the electoral process and practical demonstration was given to them regarding the functioning of EVMs to boost their understanding and proficiency in handling Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
