A Jammu and Kashmir Police assistant sub-inspector (ASI) died today after collapsing while on duty in the Abiguzar area of Srinagar.
According to reports the ASI, identified as Mushtaq Ahmad from Karnah Kupwara, lost consciousness during his duty in Abi Guzar this afternoon.
He was rushed to the PCR hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival.
Preliminary investigations by the police suggest that he passed away due to a cardiac arrest. (KF)
