Reasi, Mar 22 : Reasi Police apprehended four accused, key evidence recovered in attempt to murder case.

Reports Reaching that on 17/03/2024 Police Station Katra received an information from reliable sources that some goons stabbed one Deepak Kumar @ Deepu S/O Bodh Raj R/O Aghar Jitto, Katra with sharp edge weapon at Aghar Jitto Katra, leaving behind the injured in serious condition.

Subsequently Case FIR No. 82/2024 U/S 307/341/34 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act registered at Police Station Katra and police swung into action and the injured person shifted to CHC Katra for treatment.

Sensing the gravity of incident SSP Reasi constituted a special team to trace out the accused at the earliest. Special team laid Nakas in and around the Katra town to arrest accused persons. After meticulous track-following, with the help of technical team & consistent hectic efforts, team of Police Station Katra zeroed upon the location of the accused.

As per reports during the search, all the 04 accused persons namely Sunil Sharma @ Sunilu S/O Parshotam Sharma 2. Himanshu Sharma @ Rajju S/O Ramesh Sharma 3. Rohit Kumar @ Rotu S/O Parshotam Sharma 4. Mukesh Kumar @ Mukeshu S/O Kushal Chand all R/O Village- Aghar jitto, tehsil Katra district Reasi, were arrested and recovered sharp edged weapons on their disclosures i.e. Dharat 01,Toka 01 & cricket bat 01. The whole operation is led by SHO Katra.

SSP Reasi expressed that such barbaric act done by Criminals is rarest of the rare, Such Criminals a black spot on our social fabric. She further stressed that investigation shall incorporate each and every evidence to ensure justice is done in this heinous act at an earliest.–(BAN)
