Bandipora:- On the Directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Shakeel Ur Rasool Rather awareness camp under systematic voters’ education and Electoral participation (SVEEP) for specially abled persons held at Government Girls high school Sumbal area of Bandipora District on Tuesday.
The programme was presided over by Nodal Officer SVEEP and Deputy Cheif Education Officer Bandipora GM Pujjo he was accompanied by Principal Government Higher Secondary School Bagh Bandipora, Coordinator SVEEP Arsalan Habib and other officials were also present in the programme.
The programme was aimed to enhance awareness accessibility ans participation of Persons with Disabilities ensuring inclusivity in the Democratic framework.
Nissar Ahmad Lone informed officials about the problems in polling stations during elections, where officials assured them that every grievances will be discussed with higher authorities and make them sure about the facilities in the polling stations for specially abled persons.
