Kashmir University organised its first-ever inter-college skiing tournament in which atleast 15  colleges participated

This thrilling event have showcased the talent and skills of students from colleges across the region.
The event will be the regular feature of the Directorate, On the valedictory ceremony , Director Mandeep Singh , Director DPES along with Mr Tausif Rather, Guest of honour (Administrative officer IISM ) were present .
Dr Mandeep Singh thanked the Honble Vice Chancellor for showing full faith in the sports department of University of Kashmir. Presiding over the function,Dr Mandeep Singh expressed his gratitude and thanks for all the stakeholders those who were involved in conducting the said championship . He also assured the students every possible help regarding every sports especially skiing . Speaking on the occasion , Mr Tausif Ahmed gave the full details of IISM and provide every possible help during courses of adventures for the University of Kashmir and its affiliated colleges. In the end , both the guests distributed medals and trophies among the winners of the championship.

1) Syed murtaza (GDC magam)
2) musadiq ahmed ( GDC SOPORE)
3) Ahtisham ahad ( GDC TANGMARG)
Position in SLALOM (WOMEN):-
1) Inayat farooq (KU)
2) Mehak mushtaq ( GDC PATTAN)
3) Misbah Maqbool ( MAGAM)
Position in gaint slalom ( MEN):-
1)Syed murtaza ( GDV Magam)
2)Ahtisham ahad (GDC Tangmarg)
3)Musadiq ahmad ( GDC Sopore)
Position in gaint slalom 🙁 WOMEN)
1) Inayat farooq (KU)
2)Rashia Bashir (KU)
3)Kamseena ( Baramulla)
Overall championship –
Men ( GDC TANGMARG)
Women ( KU )
