Lok Sabha Election-2024: DC Kulgam chairs meeting of AROs, Nodal Officers

The meeting focused on ensuring the readiness and efficiency of all officers involved in the electoral process.

The DC addressed critical aspects of the upcoming elections and instructed the Nodal Officers to remain well-equipped for their roles and responsibilities.

Discussions encompassed various operational, logistical and administrative matters pertinent to the smooth conduct of the electoral process.

Nodal Officers were given a comprehensive briefing regarding their roles and responsibilities in overseeing the electoral process within their respective jurisdictions.

Emphasis was laid on enhancing operational efficiency and coordination among different stakeholders involved in the electoral process, including law enforcement agencies, administrative authorities and electoral staff.

Nodal Officers were reminded of the importance of strict adherence to electoral laws, regulations and ethical standards to uphold the integrity and fairness of the electoral process.

Strategies for conducting voter awareness campaigns and initiatives to encourage maximum voter participation were discussed to ensure inclusive and democratic elections.

The DC underscored the importance of their proactive engagement and commitment to ensuring a transparent, impartial, and efficient electoral process.

The meeting was attended by the Additional District Development Commissioner, AROs, Dy DEO and all the Nodal Officers appointed for various election assignments in the district.
