Senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K convened with the Election Commission of India at SKICC, Srinagar. The delegation, comprising Advocate R S Pathania Spokesperson, Advocate Parimoksh Seth, Convenor of the Human Rights Cell, Seh Prabhari Kashmir Mr Rafiq Ahmed Wani, and NEC member Mr Showkat Gayoor, called on ECI, to emphasise the BJP’s preparedness for the forthcoming assembly, Lok Sabha, and panchayat elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Following their meeting, the delegation convened a press conference at the BJP Headquarters in Srinagar. Advocate Pathania reiterated their commitment to electoral processes and assured the public of the BJP’s readiness to participate actively in the upcoming elections. He criticized local parties, accusing them of misleading the public by not being adequately prepared for the electoral process.

The press conference witnessed the presence of key BJP figures including Sh. Altaf Thakur, the party’s spokesperson, and Advocate Sajid Yousuf Shah, the media in-charge for Kashmir. The BJP delegation’s engagement with the Election Commission underscores the party’s dedication to democratic principles and its determination to ensure transparent and fair elections in the region.
