The staff members of the District Information Centre Doda warmly welcomed him. After the assumption of charge, the DIO conducted an introductory cum interactive meeting with the employees, reviewing the overall functioning of the department. He received briefings on different sections of the department and urged officials to work collaboratively, focusing on the publicity of government welfare schemes and programs for the benefit of the people.

He also held an interactive session with media persons in the district. The purpose of the session was to discuss the role of the media in promoting transparency. He highlighted the importance of the media in disseminating this information to the public and creating awareness about government activities.

The media persons, in turn, shared their feedback with the District Information Officer (DIO) in Doda. The DIO assured every possible support to the media fraternity.
