3 laborers die of suffocation in Udhampur, investigation underway

Udhampur, Feb 26: Three laborers lost their lives due to suspected suffocation in Gantwal Kalori, Chenani area of ​​Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Details about the incident are still emerging, and the cause of suffocation has not been officially confirmed by the police. However, initial reports suggest that the incident occurred when workers lit a fire near the tent to keep it warm amid the extreme cold.

Police have sent the bodies of the deceased to the Community Health Center (CHC) of Chenani for post-mortem.

The identities of the victims have not yet been revealed. An investigation is currently underway to determine the exact cause of the incident and the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

Chenani SDPO Sheikh Tahir Amin confirmed the incident and said investigation was underway to find out the cause of death of the three workers.

Police have registered the case and further investigation is underway.
