Karnah Kupwara: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum karnah valley consisting of two vibrant and active zones held three crucial meetings with SDM Karnah Mr Zaffar Ahmad Lone, (JKAS)Tehsildar Mr Mohammad Amin Bhat Karnah and SHO Tangdar Karnah Mr Ajaz Ahmad Parray (Inspector).The delegation was led by vice district president *Mr Mudasir and Zonal president Mr Altaf Hussain after returning from their legitimate duty.The delegation of JKTF accorded a warm and wholehearted welcome to these officers,who have been transferred to karnah valley recently.JKTF units karnah particulary zone Tangdar and zone Chamkote apprised the officers about the issues confronted by teacher fraternity of twin zones of karnah valley.Notably, the leadership of JKTF especially VDP Mudasir Ahmad and ZP Chamkote Mr Altaf Hussain put forth the genuine concerns and grievences before officers.While interacting with worthy SDM Mr Zaffar Ahmad Lone (JKAS) the leadership sought his support for the augmentation of school infrastructure in remote areas and pleaded before the officers that during rationalisation of Teaching staff ,the consent of teachers must be taken care of. Moreover,the female teachers who have been married to outside karnah territory should be rationalised and sent back to those places where they have been married.The leadership,while deliberating on issues of teachers with Worthy Tehsildar Karnah said that the training imparted to teachers of this area must be conducted in Tangdar instead of kupwara by travelling through tough terrian and perilous road .VDP said that there should be a separate building in the form of Teachers BHAVAN for teachers training with residencial facility
VDP Mudasir Ahmad and ZP Altaf Hussain requested him that teachers Forum will assist the tehsil adminstration to identify state land for those schools,which are in dire need of it.During one to one meeting with SHO Tangdar Mr Ajaz Ahmad Parray ZP Altaf Hussain assured him that JKTF will provide every kind of support to weed out social evils particulary Drug menace and pledged that JKTF wishes that Karnah should be the first tehsil to be Drug free.Altaf Hussain said that JKTF will always be ready to participate in seminars,awareness camps with regard to DRUGs.
*Later while talking to media persons ,VDP Mudasir sb and Altaf sb hailed the role of teachers and appreciated their commitment towards dissemination of education in this forlorn area.
They said that JKTF believes in good work culture and today teachers wading through snow mounds reached their schools and cleared the pavements in school premises. Some of the teachers traversed cliffs to attend their duty and are ready to welcome and bosom the students on 1st of March after winter break.
