The Medical Officer of the Chowkibal Battalion happened to be nearby and, without hesitation, promptly responded to the emergency call, rushing to assist the distressed civilian.

Drawing upon their first aid training and equipped with necessary medical supplies, the army personnel effectively administered initial aid to stabilize the individual before transporting them to the nearest Army medical facility at Drugmulla. This timely intervention proved pivotal in averting further complications and potentially saving the civilian’s life.

This incident stands as a testament to the Indian Army’s commitment not only to national security but also to the welfare of the communities they serve. As word of this heroic deed spreads, it reinforces the armed forces’ image as protectors not only during times of conflict but also in moments of civilian crisis.
