Pahari Tribe ST Forum Congratulates Senior Leader Mirza Abdul Rashid for Pahari ST Movement

Jammu, 16 February 2024: The Pahari Tribe ST Forum extends heartfelt congratulations to senior leader Mirza Abdul Rashid, a member of the Pahari movement and former Minister and Member of Parliament. The felicitation ceremony was held at his residence in Bhatindi, Jammu.
Mirza Abdul Rashid, a venerable leader, highlighted the three-decade-long struggle of the Pahari community, commending the BJP government for its unwavering commitment to inclusive development and welfare. The Pahari Tribe expressed gratitude for Rashid’s relentless efforts in empowering the community.
In a collaborative spirit, Pahari leaders appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his commitment to empowering not only the Pahari community but also safeguarding the interests of Gujjar, Bakarwals, and other listed tribes. “We are all brothers working towards the common goal of nation-building,” emphasized one of the leaders.
The Pahari Tribe also extended thanks to the Union Territory administration for bridging the gap between the community and the central government, ensuring justice for the Pahari community, and fostering a stronger connection with the central government.
The unwavering commitment of Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, State President Ravindra Rana, alongside the collective efforts of BJP leaders in Jammu and Kashmir, played a pivotal role in achieving this significant triumph.
