Instructs officers to make MCH building operational within days

KULGAM, FEBRUARY 16: To review the status of various health sector work projects including NTPHC Chowgam, MCH Kulgam, PHC Devsar and other buildings of health department, a meeting of officers was Friday held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan at mini-secretariat, here.

During the meeting, the chair was informed about the status of all aforementioned work projects.

After reviewing the status of NTPHC building Chowgam and Devsar, DC directed the concerned officers of the executing agency to finish incomplete work at both the buildings and handover the same to the health department within the stipulated time frame.

He also instructed Chief Medical Officer and Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kulgam to make MCH building operational within days.

It was informed that the Maternity and Child Care Hospital building was constructed with an estimated cost of Rs. 7.96 crore.

The meeting was attended by ADDC, Bashir Ahmad Wani; JDP, Zahid Sajjad; SE R&B, CMO, MS-Distrait Hospital and other officers.
