Srinagar, Feb 2 : A pedestrian was killed and another injured after being hit by an unknown driver in Rajouri district on Friday evening.
An official told that an unknown vehicle on the way from Nowshera to Sunderbani lost control and ran over two pedestrians, leaving a person dead and another injured critically.
The official identified the deceased as Raj Kumari wife of Ghan Sham, resident of Tala Dhambri Nowshera and the injured as Vaishno Devi, wife of Late Kamal Das, resident of Bhakar Siot.
A police official confirming the incident, told news agency Kashmir Scroll that they have taken cognisance of the incident for further investigations. (KS)
