Kupwara,January 31:In a noteworthy development, Shri Shobhit Saksena-IPS officially took charge as the Senior Superintendent of Police SSP in Kupwara, today. A formal ceremony was held at the District Police Headquarters in Kupwara in this regard.
Shri Shobhit Saksena-IPS was warmly received by the outgoing SSP, Shri Yougal Manhas, along with other officers of the district. A guard of honor was presented to welcome the new SSP as official commencement of his tenure. The outgoing SSP, Yougal Manhas-JKPS handed over the responsibility to Shobhit Saksena in a brief function at DPO Kupwara.
Upon assuming the charge, Shri Shobhit Saksena held an introductory meeting during which he implored on every officer to maintain good relationship with the general public, ensuring accessibility/accountability to address their concerns.
