Bandipora:- Inhabitants of Shukur din Mohlla Hajin town in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday expressed displeasure and said that Irrigation canal which has converted into Drain is becoming headache for the whole area.
Locals said Irrigation canal which was used for water canal for the thousands of Agricultural land in our area has been converted into Drain.
Due to bad smell this Drain has becomes headache for the residents by which locals are facing many problems and many times we have knocked the door of Muncipal Committee Hajin, but they didn’t take any significantstepforus” locals added”.
Now the locals have appealed to District Administration to intervene and cover the Drain properly so that people will not suffer.
When we contacted the BDO Hajin He Said that we have make the estimate of the Drain after the approval & tender the work be start on Drain so that people will not suffer.
