DC Kulgam takes stock of Transit Accommodation works for KP Employees at Chowgam, Devsar

KULGAM, JANUARY 31: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today visited Chowgam Village of the Block Devsar, where he inspected and took stock of under construction work of Transit Accommodation for the KP Employees.

He took stock of the pace of the ongoing development works of quarters. The officers of the executing agency intimated that work on 8 blocks is under execution, out of total 12 blocks. Out of ongoing works, 3 quarters shall be completed up to June, 2024 further intimidated by them.

DC on the occasion highlighted the urgent need of taking the works to fruition for the larger benefit of KP employees.

He directed for increasing the pace of the works and speedily completing the same within timelines. No extended deadline shall be given, DC said to the executing agency while calling for increasing men and machinery to speed up works.

The DC was accompanied by various officers of the district administration during his whirlwind tour of the area.
