Police said that Mir is an over ground worker of the militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The police added that this property had been acquired as proceeds of militancy.

The police added that during the investigation of an FIR (05/2023) it had come to the fore that the property under survey number 68 belonging to the militant associate had been acquired as proceeds of militancy which was deliberately used for harboring militants.

Police said that it reiterates its resolve to continue its endeavor for identification and initiation of legal actions against all such properties that are being willfully used for harbouring militants.

Pertinently, police in the recent past have seized the properties of many militants and the over-ground workers in different parts of Valley. [KNT]
