Goa has won 1 silver and 5 bronze medals till the third day today in the West Zone Khelo India Women’s Wushu League being organized in Goa under the joint aegis of Indian Wushu Association, Goa Wushu Association and Sports Authority of India. While Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra won gold medals, Gujarat won silver medals. Sanda competitions took place till the semi-finals of all categories. All the finals of Sanda will be conducted tomorrow. Today, Honorable MLA Shri Ullas Tuenkar MLA Goa Legislative Assembly came to the competition today and gave blessings to the women players and honored some players by giving them medals. Tomorrow, the closing ceremony of the competition and prize distribution will be held at 12 noon in which prize money of Rs 6 lakh thirty thousand will be distributed to the female winning players as incentive.
