Srinagar on 26″ January 2024.
At the outset, the celebration commenced with the National Anthem when Passport Officer hoisted the National Flag in the presence of all the official staff and the team of 144 Battalion of CRPF. Passport Officer, while addressing the staff urged for not to involve in any favouritism and groupism in the official work.
The staff of Passport Office wholeheartedly participated in the various events like singing, dancing, speeches etc. during the celebration.
Various concerns like global warming, tree plantation, cleanliness etc. were raised by the participants during their speeches and the Passport Officer assured to give support for such campaigns. The Chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Constitution, Dr. B. R Ambedkar along with other members was paid tribute for their great contribution in preparing the longest constitution of the world. All the martyrs were also commemorated on the occasion for their contribution in achieving the freedom.
Sh. Ajay Verma, II I/C 144 Battalion CRPF and his team was honoured with memento by the Passport Officer for their efforts in successfully celebrating the occasion. The celebration was culminated with the prize distribution to all the participants.
