Ganderbal, January 26: In a vibrant display of patriotic fervor, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Unit Ganderbal orchestrated a remarkable Republic Day flag ceremony at the iconic Duderhama Bridge today. The event was a testimony to the unity and enthusiasm of the local community as they gathered to celebrate the 75rd anniversary of India’s Republic Day. The tricolor soared high against the azure sky as BJP Ganderbal’s District President, Mohammad Amin Shah, hoisted the national flag, encapsulating the essence of freedom, democracy, and unity. Surrounded by his comrades, Shah exuded passion and commitment towards the country, setting the tone for a day filled with patriotic zeal. The Duderhama Bridge, a symbolic location for the celebration, resonated with the echoes of the national anthem, evoking a sense of pride and solidarity among the attendees. The sight of the fluttering tricolor against the picturesque backdrop of Ganderbal created an indelible image, symbolizing the spirit of a united India.
Addressing the gathering, Mohammad Amin Shah emphasized the significance of Republic Day and the need for collective efforts to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution. He said, “Republic Day is not just a date on the calendar; it is a celebration of our shared identity, diversity, and commitment to the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.”
The ceremony was attended by a diverse audience, including local residents, party members, and dignitaries from the region. The enthusiastic party members include District President Ganderbal Mohammad Amin Shah, District Vice-President Rubina shahzad, General Secretary Manzoor bhat,Javid Ahmad Dar,State vice president ST Morcha Junaid Khattana,State kisan morcha Secretary Rabia Rasool, District Secretaries Asger Rizive,
Bashir Ahmad Ganaie, Irshad ahamad,Mir Amir,,mir Adil,and Javaid Ahmad Tantary, District Media Incharge Showkat Shah, Spokesperson Mohammad Hafeez and Constiuency President Ganderbal Mir Manzoor Ahmed,Kangan Javed Ahmad Gounchee,Yuva Morcha President Sajad Ahmad Wani,mainorty morcha president sajad Ahmad Bha,Mainorty Genral Secretary Ad Ahad Banda Ex BDC and Bjp leader Zareefa ,members and Bjp leaders,Abdul Rashid Ganaie,Ab Rashid Ganaie yanihama,yoth leader Amir Ahmad rangil,Danish Ahmad,Irshad Ahmad and others, As the national flag danced in the wind, the gathering witnessed cultural performances, showcasing the artistic talent of the local community. Traditional music and dance forms reverberated through the air, reflecting the cultural mosaic of the region.
Mohammad Amin Shah extended his special gratitude to the District Administration, Ganderbal Police, CRPF for their active participation the program where Deputy Commissioner Shaymbir (IAS), SSP Nikil Borkar (IPS) and Incharge SP Ghulam Hassan for facilitating and making necessary security arrangements to make the program possible at the venue.
