To take first hand Appraisal of various activities ADC Sopore S A Raina (JKAS) identified land for water Sports Activities at Wular Lake.

Directed Concerned BDO and his technical team to make estimate for the shed so that water sports should take place.

During his visit to Wular Lake ADC Sopore was accompanied by District President Water Sports Baramullah and Civil society members of Zaingair areas.

He put emphasis on the fact that in order to carry the water sports activities in the wular, there is a dire need to build the proper infrastructure and he directed all the concerned officials to put efforts so that all arrangements will be in place for the same.

Later on ADC Sopore also visited Doabgah area of Rafiabad Sopore health and wellness centre.

On his visit ADC Sopore S A Raina (JKAS) while inspecting it was found that there was no employee present except one MPFHW .

Hospital was dirty, no record of patients, no record of medicines issued to patients and no other relevant register available.

BMO Sopore is asked to deduct one day’s salary from the salary of Pharmacist,Sweeper and same may b credited into Distt Red Cross Fund Bla, besides submit report about action taken after issuance of Show cause notice.

While his visit to Doabgah locals raised the issue of filtration plant as the local populace is suffering for quite sometime.

On the occasion AEE PHE Watergam and Engineers of the PHE(Mech) Watergam to examine the issue for providing of water to the local areas including Village Achabal Rafiabad.

Meanwhile, AEE I&FC has been asked to put filled bags at the desired point to ensure stream of water towards the suction point, so that no such situation would recur here to fore.

The AEE PHE and AEE PHE (Mech) have been asked to ensure regular supply of water to the consumers without any interruption.
