The social welfare office Baramulla has made a remarkable initiative by establishing a District Hub solely dedicated to the benefit and upliftment of women. This hub will focus on various aspects of women empowerment, including education, healthcare, skill development, and job opportunities.

As part of this endeavor, a heartwarming event took place at the Sub-District Hospital Sopore, where a special distribution was organized under the scheme, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. The distribution focused on providing blankets and nutrition kits to mothers who had recently given birth to baby girls. This initiative aims to support and encourage the nurturing of girl children, while also highlighting the importance of gender equality and women’s welfare.
