Jammu, Jan 8: Intelligence agencies have issued an alert along the International Border between Punjab and Jammu Kashmir following the detection of movement by three to four suspects in the vicinity of the border fence in Pakistan.
The Border Security Force reported this activity in the past week.
Officials revealed to Republic that the agencies’ alert emphasized the close proximity of the suspects to the International Border fence, prompting instructions to maintain the highest level of alertness.
The security forces have been directed to reinforce night domination, with a new plan implemented on the ground to thwart any potential threats.
An official from the Counter Terror Wing informed that regular searches are underway, treating every piece of information seriously and conducting thorough investigations.
