SRINAGAR, JANUARY 05: Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) today organized an event under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) at Zainakote in Srinagar, marking a significant milestone in bringing impactful events and essential services to the local communities.

The event featured a range of activities, including ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,’ where beneficiaries of government welfare schemes shared their life-changing experiences.

Additionally, free health check-ups, Aadhar card registrations, Ayushman card generation and sign-ups for various government schemes were made available, ensuring easy access to vital services for those in need.

Moreover, the Government of India’s IEC van was on-site to showcase informative short films, highlighting a diverse array of welfare schemes, including the PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Svanidhi, and more, aimed at empowering communities and ensuring widespread access to essential government programs.

The successful organization of the VBSY reflects the commitment of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation and the Government of India to positively impact local communities and facilitate access to welfare initiatives.
