KUPWARA, JANUARY 04: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today paid a visit to the shopkeepers whose shops had gutted in an overnight fire incident in General Bus Stand Kupwara.
On the occasion, the DC expressed sympathies with the affected shopkeepers and assured all possible support from the District Administration.
She urged the need for a Fire Safety Audit of all shop establishments in the Kupwara town to minimize the risk of such incidents in the future. She also appealed to the people to take proper care of their surroundings to avoid such unfortunate incidents.
The DC was accompanied by Tehsildar Kupwara and other concerned officers.
