SAMBA, DECEMBER 29: A one day Environment Building Programme (Parental Counselling) under Inclusive Education component of Samagra Shiksha was today organized for Zone Vijaypur, Ramgarh and Purmandal here at Government Higher Secondary School Vijaypur.

 

The parents of Children with Special Needs (CWSN) children, Teachers, VECs and PRI Members of the surrounding area participated.

 

District Samagra Shiksha Team, District Coordinator IED and Zonal Coordinators IED and Special Education Teachers played a pivotal role in making this programme successful.

 

The objective of organizing the programme was to educate the parents of the CWSN children regarding various facilities being provided by the Samagra Shiksha in particular and Government in general for the benefit of these children and the facilities being provided for giving education to these children through inclusive mode with other children.

 

Participating parents also discussed various issues being faced by them and gave valuable suggestions for betterment of the Specially Abled Children.

 

During the Programme, experts apprised the participants regarding the schemes of Government for benefit of the CWSN children including various facilities provided by Samagra Shiksha for imparting them education with other children. Zonal Education Officer of the zones Vijaypur/Purmandal and Ramgarh also impressed upon the Parents of the children to take benefit of the Government schemes launched for the betterment of the children.
