Dec :- 29 – Shahrukh Bhatti DPAP Zonal General Secretary (Chenab Valley) & Councillor MC Batote today met with Worthy Deputy Commissioner Ramban Ias Baseer Ul Haq Ji and presented a memorandum to him regarding sudden hike in toll charges at Chenani- Nashri by NHA-I. He briefly explain to worthy DC Ramban regarding sufferings allready tolrated by general public of Nashri- Batote and adjoing areas due to less number of opportunities of employees in the district. He further inform that maximum strength of people in these areas are day earners. He also told to DC Ramban that maximum people are traveling from this tunnel in regular days to earn their livelihood. He further requested DC Ramban for his personal intervention in this matter and request to cancel that hike order as soon as possible as people won’t afford this hike of toll charges. DC Ramban assures Shahrukh Bhatti that he would personally look after that matter and try to bring relief to the general public as soon possible.
