Ganderbal, December 24: In a poignant display of communal harmony, the tight-knit community of Tulmulla in Ganderbal bid a tearful farewell to Bhansi Lal, affectionately known as Kaka ji, a prominent Kashmiri Pandit a government employee who breathed his last recently. The Muslim Brotherhood of Tulmulla came forward to perform the last rites of Bhansi Lal with Hindu rituals, showcasing the deep bonds that transcend religious lines in the valley.
The BJP district President of Ganderbal, Mohammad Amin Shah, expressed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the BJP party and State General Secretary Organisation Shri Ashok Koul. Shah visited the residence of Bhansi Lal, underscoring the unity that exists among the people of diverse faiths.
“Bhansi Lal, a Pandit who chose to stay in Kashmir, exemplified trust and brotherhood. His unwavering faith in his Muslim brothers is a testament to the spirit of coexistence that has long defined the region,” remarked Mohammad Amin Shah during his visit.
As the community came together to bid farewell to Kaka ji, the unity displayed at the funeral serves as a beacon of hope and a powerful reminder that humanity transcends religious boundaries.
