Electoral preparedness reviewed in Ramban

RAMBAN, DECEMBER 23: On the directions of the Chief Electoral Officer, J&K, Electoral Registration Officers of AC-54-Ramban and AC-55-Banihal on Saturday chaired a joint meeting here in Ramban.

AEROs, Election Supervisors, and Booth Level Officers (BLOs), participated in the meeting focusing on electoral readiness.

 

Reviewing the activities carried out during the Special Summary Revision, the EROs examined records and EPICs distribution Registers maintained by the BLOs.

 

The BLOs were asked to address any pending election-related tasks, emphasizing the need for efficiency and accuracy in the electoral process.

 

Meanwhile, the District Election Department, under the guidance of District Election Officer Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, organized a training program for AEROs, Election Supervisors, and BLOs, focusing on the intricate operation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

 

Presided over by AROs ACR, Giasul-Haq, and SDM Banihal, Zaheer Abbas Bhat, the training session witnessed the active participation of Deputy District Election Officer Lal Chand, AEROs, Supervisors, and BLOs.

 

The BLOs were enlightened about their pivotal role and responsibilities before and during the electoral process, emphasizing the significance of their contribution to the seamless conduct of elections. Master Trainers provided hands-on training to participants, ensuring a thorough understanding of EVM operation.
