SHOPIAN, DECEMBER 21: To raise awareness regarding the importance of girl child and her education, Department of Social Welfare in collaboration with Department of Youth Services and Sports today organised inter zonal district competition in the discipline of Kho Kho and Tug Of War under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao at Sports Stadium Batapora Shopian.
Students from different zones participated in the competition.
The programme was inaugurated by the Secretary to the Government, Youth Services and Sports, Sarmad Hafeez.
The event was attended by ADDC Shopian, Dr. Nasir Lone; ADC, Shopian, Dr Zakir Hussain Faaz; ACD, Shopian, Hilal Ahmed Jeri; Dy.SP, DSWO, TSWO and others.
