KULGAM, DECEMBER 19: Under the banner of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) IEC campaign was held in 06 wards of Municipal Committee Yaripora today.

 

The Additional District Development Commissioner, Showkat Ahmad Rather, participated in the Yatra at Yaripora Kulgam. ACD, Mohammad Imran, Tehsildar, EO and other officers and officials of line departments also attended the programme.

 

The programme also witnessed overwhelming public participation. Stalls were set up by various departments to aware the people about their schemes and programmes besides on spot registration counters were also set up by the departments. During the programme, video messages of the Prime Minister and other promotional videos were also screened on the IEC van.

 

Officers and officials continued to make people aware of government schemes, interacted with people and motivated them to register for schemes and get benefits under various employment and welfare-based schemes.

 

Beneficiaries, who have availed of services, also shared their experiences under the Meri Kahaani, Meri Zubaani initiative and expressed gratitude for the seamless service delivery. Officers and officials remained busy with IEC activities in an effort to reach the unreached population.
